NEW CREATIONS
LONGINES - The Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph
These new creations from Longines come in both a classic and sporty version: The Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph and The Longines Column-Wheel Sports Chronograph. At their heart beats the very exclusive L688.2 column-wheel chronograph movement launched in 2009. Mandated and financed by Longines and a few other Swatch Group brands, ETA developed an exclusive new automatic column-wheel movement for a wrist chronograph which provides an exceptional degree of user comfort. Heir to Longines’ long tradition in timing and the world of sports, The Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph benefits from the latest manufacturing technologies and boasts a construction tailor-made to meet the demands of chronometry.
JAERMANN & STUBI - St Andrews Links Course Timer & GMT “The Old Course”
Specialists in top-of-the-range golf watches, Jaermann & Stübi have stepped up their cooperation with St Andrews Links, the birthplace of golf, and will provide this historic venue with clocks that, in design terms, are like the wristwatches. Also the tournament’s supplier and official timer, Jaermann & Stübi have launched a special model in a limited series of 18, with each watch representing one hole of the internationally renowned Old Course. It is here that golf will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the British Open in 2010. Like all the brand’s watches, these 18 timepieces will feature a G-Shock-Guard system with a flexible winding-stem, patented and specially designed for golf, as well as a course timer.
ROMAIN GAUTHIER - Calibre 2206 Hms
Designed and made from A to Z by Romain Gauthier in his manufacture in the Joux Valley, the Calibre 2206 Hms is intended for haute horlogerie collectors and aficionados who want to own an exceptional timepiece. Every watch is assembled and decorated by hand in strict accordance with the purest traditions of Swiss watchmaking and boasts a remarkable level of finishing. Over and above its various original features and innovations, the Calibre 2206 has a crown fitted horizontally under the movement so that the watch can be wound without taking it off the wrist.
VENTURA - V-tex® Sigma
Chosen for its futuristic design, the v-tec® Sigma played an important role in Nicolas Cage’s recent film “Bangkok Dangerous”. Created by the Swiss designer Paolo Fancelli, winner of numerous prizes, the v-tec® Sigma is part of the Ventura collection of innovative and contemporary models characterised by an inimitable style. With its patented EasyScroll® system, v-tec Sigma®’s multiple functions can be used intuitively rather than manually. The watch’s longevity is prolonged by the hardened Durinox® stainless steel case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The v-tec Sigma® comes on a rubber strap or hardened steel bracelet.
AZZARO - Coastline
Aboard a yacht anchored in the Bay of St-Tropez, in the azure blue water of a Beverly Hills pool, or on the catwalk of a fashion show in Milan, the Coastline by Azzaro is the watch to have. Inspired by the world of sailing and amateur diving, it embodies the sport-chic spirit par excellence. Diving gear de rigueur.
CHRISTIAN JACQUES - Virtus
At the same time as its Explorator model, Christian Jacques is launching a collection of sports watches: the Virtus. Although designed for action, this new timepiece is also extremely elegant, particularly when set with black diamonds. A stunning example of the perfection the brand invariably strives for, the Virtus is an expression of inspired harmony.
RSW - Wonderland
The latest creation from RSW, the Wonderland has the courage to take risks, persevere and stand firm. This is a philosophy dear to the brand, which has always created highly unusual timepieces in its perpetual quest to conquer the summits of eternal time. With its sculpted design suggestive of ridges and valleys formed by the flow of burning lava, the Wonderland offers a spectacular vision of disturbing devastation and beauty like the earth torn up by an earthquake. Available in a classic version or a more glamorous one with bold settings, it has already added a new chapter to the RSW legend.
AZZARO - Legend Rectangular Chronograph
Offered in two versions – with a chronograph or two-hand movement – the Legend by Azzaro has taken on the lines of an elegant rectangle this year. Keeping faith with the rings that have made Azzaro a fashion icon, it has gracefully reproduced the legendary curves on its dial in a composition that is both refined and contemporary.
CHRISTIAN JACQUES - Explorator
Sporty, cambered and bold. Not content with having a sporty elegant look, the Explorator from Christian Jacques provides exceptional wearer comfort with its carefully designed ergonomics, while the meticulously studied, contemporary design features innovative materials.
BULOVA ACCUTRON - Mirador
A symphony of diamonds and ceramics, the Mirador is a subtle balance of fashion and functionality. No fewer than 424 diamonds have been hand set on the dial, ennobled by a bezel paved with 128 diamonds. The exceptionally elegant white ceramic, discreetly studded with steel elements, underlines the sparkling glory of this extraordinary piece.
