NEW CREATIONS
ULYSSE NARDIN - El Toro
In keeping with its rich watchmaking heritage, Ulysse Nardin has
combined the Moonstruck case with the legendary perpetual calendar
movement. A tradition for the brand, whose every development is a minor
revolution! Noble and virile with its ceramic pushpieces and bezel, the
El Toro boasts some remarkable features: an exclusive fast-action
time-zone system, permanent indication of the original time, forward
and backward adjustment of all the date indicators, and the
synchronised adjustment of these elements using the hour hand. Limited
to 500 pieces.

HERMES - Clipper 44 mm Mechanical Chronograph
This year, the legendary Clipper has adopted a 44mm case in
titanium, undoubtedly an allusion to the world of sailing where this
material is highly prized for its high performance and lightness. The
reference to the famous three-master that has given its name to this
collection is even more striking. Inside the case, an automatic
chronograph movement, a marvel of reliability and precision, gives
rhythm to time and, for an instant, suspends its flight. Offered in a
variety of sizes, the range has not lost any of its original elegance.
Nor any of its allure, which evokes the famous sailboat’s porthole.

EPOS - GMT Limited Edition
Embodying the art of Swiss watchmaking, the 3400 GMT Limited
Edition features a world first: an inverse 24-hour indicator with a
separate date window for the second time zone. Fitted with two
independent movements for the simultaneous display of the two time
zones and limited to 999 pieces, this exceptional timepiece has a
transparent back through which the excellence of its mechanics can be
admired. With an oval case, a black guilloché dial decorated with white
mother-of-pearl, and finishing in the purest Swiss watchmaking
tradition, each watch is a little masterpiece in its own right.

HAMILTON - Pulsomatic
Forty years after revolutionising the world of watchmaking by
inventing the first digital watch, Hamilton is opening the festivities
of this anniversary with the launch of a new Hamilton Pulsomatic,
equipped for the occasion with automatic technology. With its
science-fiction design, a case inspired by space-age televisions, and a
liquid crystal screen powered by an innovative automatic movement, the
82-hour power reserve H1970 movement, today’s Pulsomatic clearly stands
on equal terms with its illustrious forerunner, considered to be the
first computer ever worn on the wrist.

DE GRISOGONO - Instrumento Grande Chrono
Five years after its widely-acclaimed launching, the Instrumento
Grande has returned in a chronograph version. And what a chronograph!
While the case has retained its original size and its emblematic
opening on the side of the case at 9 o’clock to provide a novel view of
the movement, the dial shows an exuberance of creativity. The
retrograde date, in twin arcs, displays unbridled dynamism, sublimated
by a skilful interplay of tinted and non-tinted glass to enable the
date to be read at first glance. The chronograph counters offer a
fascinating and cleverly orchestrated combination of shapes and sizes,
from the square at 9 o’clock to the oversized circle at 6 to the more
classic circle at 12.

ARMIN STROM - One Week Manufacture Calibre ARM09
Presented for the first time last November, the ARM09 calibre is
manufactured 100% in-house and is a real mechanical treasure trove. No
fewer than 146 components were needed to create this hand-wound
movement with its exceptional 7-day power reserve. The well-informed
connoisseur will also appreciate the crown wheels that can be seen
turning on the dial side, an innovation that presents a truly
captivating spectacle! Watch enthusiasts, however, will have to wait
until Baselworld 2010 before they can admire the models of the new One
Week collection that house this sumptuous movement.

DEWITT - Tewnty-8-Eight Automatic
In a move towards greater classicism, DeWitt’s emblematic imperial
columns, the brand’s veritable signature, have become more discreet in
its new Twenty-8-Eight collection; the pink gold case is also finer
than in the past. A truly harmonious creation that reveals a
magnificent flambé zone and delicate radiating pattern under its
velvety black dial. With DeWitt, tradition is never far away: the
Twenty-8-Eight pays tribute to the 28 Floréal, the day on which the
Senate of Republican France proclaimed Napoleon Bonaparte – Jérôme
DeWitt’s illustrious ancestor – as “Emperor of the French people”. It
can hardly be a coincidence that the Twenty-8-Eight was designed on …
28 August! Limited edition of 500.

SELLITA - SW 500
Sellita’s latest creation, the SW500 Calibre meets the growing
demand for Swiss automatic chronograph movements. An impressive
combination of quality and absolute mastery of horological techniques,
this movement offers the same high performance and level of reliability
as an ETA 7750 movement.

BULER - Sky Hero
Performance, design and elegance. This chronograph, the very
latest from the Sky Hero collection, will satisfy all tastes as it
comes with a silvered, black or brown dial and a truly elegant two-tone
bracelet or super sporty black rubber strap.
|
A.B.ART - Serie OA
Original and discreet, a.b.art’s Serie OA will captivate both male
and female lovers of simple, low-key designs. Indeed, what makes the
brand’s models so different is the deliberate rejection of anything
ostentatious and artificial. The common denominator of all the
collections? A refined design, quality materials and meticulous
finishing: tokens of good taste, with no false note.
