LOUIS MOINET - Time Explorator
The Jurassic Tourbillon, whose dial contains fragments of authentic
fossilised dinosaur bones, takes us on a journey into the past, around
130 million years ago. Qualified as exceptional by experts, the colour
and veining of these precious witnesses to our past underwent a
meticulous process of preservation. A veritable initiatory exploration,
this first piece of a limited series of 12 watches comes in a
time-travelling case: the Time Explorator. This “treasure chest of
origins” features an “engine-room” comprising counters, handles, levers,
gear-trains and pipes in copper and brass. Made of acajou, the Time
Explorator is three metres long and two metres high. Its nine windows,
which represent the key dates in the history of man, are an invitation
to make unexpected discoveries.

URWERK - UR-103T Mexican Fireleg
The 103 collection is celebrating its 7th and final anniversary as
Urwerk will be shutting down its production at the end of the year. As
Martin Frei says, “Our 103 collection is entering its seventh year. It
has reached its maturity and fullness. It was Urwerk’s first
masterpiece, one of audacity and challenge. In my opinion, it is the one
that symbolises to this day the perfect balance between elegance and
technicity. A fragile balance, but one which we have succeeded in
preserving. This emblematic model deserves an end commensurate with its
life.” The “Tarantula” is back in a final attack that takes the form of
the “Mexican Fireleg”. This is a UR-103T that has returned to the animal
stage - aggressive and venomous - and that is racy with its orange
luminescent markers. It comes in a limited edition of 60 timepieces and,
for the Shining T version, inspired by the world of Manga, a limited
edition of 33.

TISSOT - Veloci-T Gent
Thanks to the new, revolutionary ETA C01.211 chronograph movement
recently introduced by Tissot, the Veloci-T Gent brings together
elegance and sportiness. Two models share the same black and silver
tones, as well as a design inspired by speedometers. The circles
surrounding the dial remind us that the watch is inspired by racing
tracks. A finely graduated tachometer underlines the importance of
precision in the worlds of both high level automobile sport and

ORA SWISS WATCH COMPANY - Ora #1
A new concept, an amalgam of art, technology and culture, has
arrived on the watch scene. The Ora Swiss Watch company is a
family-owned and run upmarket watch brand. It dreams up, develops,
designs and manufactures its watches in Ticino on the shores of Lake
Maggiore in southern Switzerland. It is a place where the rigour and
tradition of the north meet the charm and culture of the south, a place
where ideas flourish, with passion. Ora: Italian for “time”, “hour” and
“now”. The case and dial of the chronograph are sculpted from a single
piece of titanium in a shower of millions and millions of sparks; this

DUBEY & SCHALDENBRAND - New Spiral
Dubey & Schaldenbrand are launching a new high-performance
Spiral model that beats at 28,800 vib/h. This chronograph movement with
its top-of-the-range finishing is housed in an appropriately high-tech
case: surgical steel, and sculptural pushpieces and horns with
alternating satin and polished finishing. The multi-levelled dial
reveals recessed counters in a highly contemporary architectural
setting. Large Roman numerals encircle the counters to help extend the
construction of this little mechanical jewel.

VOLNA - Typhoon Siberia SHCI Heritage
Chronograph
Presented for the first time at Baselworld, the Typhoon Siberia is
made entirely of Grade 5 titanium and is the result of new advances in
this high-tech material – light, unalterable and anti-allergic. This
dynamic chronograph from Volna is a perfect marriage between “Russian
heritage and Swiss made”. Produced in two limited series of 125 pieces,
the Typhoon Siberia comes in polished and satin-finished Grade 5
titanium or with highly-resistant black double carbon treatment. The
Volnatomic collection, transgressive by definition, is being launched at
Baselworld by Sebastien Bottinelli (co-founder of Volna) and Yvan Arpa
(creator of Romain Jerome’s Titanic DNA). Disturbing visual features
include symbols and colours from the world of nuclear energy.
